David Lane

David Lane is currently Professor of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He is also a member of the External Faculty and the Science Board of the Santa Fe Institute.

Among other academic honors, Lane has been elected a fellow of the Guggenheim Foundation, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics, the American Statistical Association and the International Statistical Association. He has published articles and books in a variety of fields, including probability theory, statistical inference, epidemiology, medical decision-making, economics and business.
