Main projects developed in the field of agriculture:

Register of Agricultural and Food Industry Businesses

Core of the SIAP, it manages the data of approximately 70,000 businesses: public and private subjects that carry out activities in the field of agriculture, food industry and forestry.
It comprises:

  • a Geographical Information System – GIS, an integrated tool for territory control to support the regional PA on the subject of agriculture;
  • a graphic databank with the orthophotographs of the entire regional territory.

Rural Development Plan – PSR

The system makes it possible to complete applications for funding and communications forms referring to the measures of the 2007-2013 Rural Development Plan and forward them on line. The state of progress of the started procedure can be viewed at all times.

Piedmont Agriculture Information System - SIAP

This establishes a connection among Public Administrations that interact with the agricultural businesses and with subjects involved in applications for aids and permits in agriculture.
It offers front office functions to agricultural businesses and to their professional intermediaries (Centres for Assistance in Agriculture); it is linked with other national and regional information systems.
