1990 was a year of renewal for both the Piedmont Regional Council and the offices of CSI-Piemonte. After a brief period with Pasquale Pappacoda as chairman, Luciano Gallino took over as chairman of the board of directors of CSI.
The commercial department was strengthened with the start-up of a new marketing department for central public administration and new personnel were recruited for sales activities in the commercial sector. As far as management planning and control was concerned, a software package (SMART) was introduced in the Analytical Accounting Office for the management of routine accounting.
