To offer support to businesses
CSI plays a leading role in the development of ICT in Piedmont and in the promotion of local excellences.
In particular the Consortium is committed to:
- supporting the presence of ICT Companies on the international scene through a close network of contacts;
- contributing to seeking resources and funding programmes;
- providing training and support for tenders;
- developing and operating shared digital platforms.

The document management platform is the result of a collaboration between the Regional Administration of Piedmont, the City and Province of Turin Administrations, the University and Polytechnics of Turin and is developed with open source technologies.
CSI-Piemonte provides technological support and domain competence, thanks to many years of experience acquired in the development of systems.
The project includes 4 fields of action:
- collaboration between public Bodies and the academic world;
- dematerialisation and simplification of administrative processes;
- use of open source solutions and technologies;
- support to the growth of Piedmont ICT businesses.
DoQui allows Administrations to:
- comply with national and European directives (Digital Administration Code);
- simplify administrative processes and relations with citizens and businesses and make them transparent;
- reduce direct paper management costs (sorting, treatment, filing) and indirect ones (simplicity and promptness in sharing and spreading, no duplicating…);
- create specific know-how in the ICT sector.
DoQui offers Piedmont businesses the opportunity to:
- take part in an open source community open to public and private realities;
- benefit from the positive consequence on the Piedmont ICT sector;
- propose additional services built on the platform (consulting, customisations, evolutions of the software…).
