The methods of managing the website with reference to processing the personal data of users and visitors who consult it are described below. This is an information notice provided, also in accordance with Art. 13 of "GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation" (EU) 2016/679, to those who interact with this website only and not with any other websites that may be consulted via links.

Processing Methods

The processing of personal data relating to identified or identifiable individuals who access the website corresponds to that defined at Art. 4 of the Code and at Art. 4 of the GDPR and is performed by entities instructed to perform the processing in compliance with the provisions of Art. 11 of the Code instructed and authorized in accordance with Art. 29 of the GDPR, by means of automated, computer and electronic tools.

CSI-Piemonte adopts specific and appropriate security measures in relation to risk of various possibility and severity for the rights and freedom of people, to prevent the loss of the data, its unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised accesses thereto and in order to reduce risks related to the confidentiality, availability and integrity of the personal data collected and processed, which are kept for 180 days on servers located at the owner offices.


Processing Purposes

The personal data is processed for the purposes strictly connected to and necessary for accessing and consulting the websites. The processing of personal data therefore finds its legal basis in the execution of the institutional purposes of CSI Piemonte provided by the Statute in accordance with the provisions of art. 6 of the GDPR.


Communication and Dissemination of Data

The data of users and visitors to the website processed by CSI-Piemonte are exclusively used for activities strictly related and instrumental to the functioning of the website. They are not transferred to extra European countries, nor they are in any way subject to automated decision-making processes including profiling.


Type of Data Processed

  • Data willingly provided by the user The willing and explicit transmission of personal data to the email addresses stated in the different access channels of the present website implies the following acquisition of user data that are needed to answer the instances produced and/or issue the requested service. Additional information concerning user data processing are displayed or visualized in the pages of the website set up for the specific requested services.

  • Browsing Data The simple navigation of the website does not require personal data granting, except those personal data automatically collected described below. The computer systems and applications dedicated to the functioning of the website identify, during browsing, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is data that is not collected in order to identify users but that, by its very nature, could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow them to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to send the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the computer environment of users. This data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on use of the Website and it may be used, at the request of the relevant Authorities, exclusively for investigations or assessments of liability in the judicial venue, in compliance with existing regulations.


Cookies

Cookies are small text files that the web server deposits on the device through which users browse, without identifying them. A cookie cannot read personal data saved on the hard disc or cookie files created by other web sites, as the only information it can contain is that provided by users themselves. The pages of this website use cookies according to the policies described hereafter.

  • Technical Cookies
    This website uses technical cookies, that are not saved persistently on the user's device and are necessary to enable the safe and efficient exploration of the website. Their use is limited to session cookies and, in general, domain cookies, such as user preference cookies and monitoring cookies (for ex. BlueStripe.PVN). The use of these cookies in the present website makes it unnecessary to use other IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the privacy of user browsing, as they do not enable the acquisition of personal data that may identify the users.

  • Cookie Analytics
    In order to facilitate browsing of the website and the way in which visitors arrive there, the website uses, Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, which adheres to privacy principles established by the United States Government (US Safe Harbor Privacy Principles), to which the Privacy-Policy refers. In order to analyse the points of greatest interest of websites visited by users, Google Analytics uses cookies for statistical purposes, collecting only aggregated information, without associating the users' browsing IP address to any other data owned by Google itself.
    Tools have been introduced to reduce the identification potentiality of the cookies by masking significant parts of the IP. Moreover, ad hoc GoogleAnalytics settings have been activated, so that Google is not able to cross the collected data with other information it already has at its disposal.

Browsing on the website implies the approval of the conditions of use, including the functionalities connected to the cookies that may be disabled using the specific options present in the different browsers. With the exception of all the above, this website does not use any other cookie for the transmission of information of personal nature, nor does it use any other user tracking systems.


How to disable the cookies (opt-out)

Rights of the Interested Parties

Users, i.e. the individuals to whom the personal data relates, are entitled, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of that data and to know of its content or origin, to verify its accuracy or to request its addition, update or rectification in accordance with Art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/03. Interested parties are also entitled to request its deletion, transformation into anonymous form or block on data processed in breach of the law, as well as to object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to its processing, and also the right to restriction and portability of processing data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority e in accordance with Art. 15 to 22 of the GDPR.
